After several hours of flight, Sanshu finally descended down onto the shores of the Land of Claws. The small island country was not much to look at, a forest of lush greens and trees. Nothing special.
There was no rain. Sanshu's favorite thing was rain. He dismissed this from his mind and climbed off of his summon, Ekirei Hagetaka. Standing on the shores water from the ocean washed up into his sandals, wetting his feet. He looked at the vulture he rode on, and it poofed away.
Sanshu "I've only been here a minute and the landscape is already a dissapointment. Hopefully there will be something worth keeping in this forest."
Walking forward into the forest, he started to hear the sound of insects and animals all around him. He walked forward into the unknown, not caring much for whatever would possibly jump out at him. Continuing until he was at the entrance of a clearing, in front of him at the far side of the field was a strange looking beast. It resembled a wolf, a dark, pitch black wolf. The only visible color was its white, three to four foot long teeth. Except - it had two heads.
Sanshu "Hmm. Maybe I will get something out of this visit."
As the beast walked the field, one of the heads shot off of the body, the original body morphing into the shape of a regular, one-headed beast, a new body came from the neck of the head that shot off. A completely new beast was formed out of it.
Sanshu "Duplication? This is perfect."
Sanshu stepped forward out of the forest, and to his immediate right was a small pond of water. This would be perfect for a single attack against the beast. He started to perform several hand seals. As he performed the hand seals the water lifted out of the pond into the shape of a ball - growing larger and larger as more water fed into it. Finishing his hand seals, Sanshu said to himself:
Sanshu "Suiton Tatsu no Jutsu!"
The ball of water split into two water dragons, flying at deadly speeds towards the two beasts. Immediately the two turned their heads and charged, snarling, saliva dripping from their lips and wetting the ground. Unfortunately for them, the two water dragons made direct impact, going head first into the beasts. The wolves skulls caved in as the impact of the water dragon continued. They both rolled forward and stopped at the feet of Sanshu. One of the heads of the dogs threatened to begin reforming into another head, but Sanshu raised his hand using his Water Wave Palm ninjutsu to blow through the dog, destroying its internal organs with the jet of water. After being completely sure that the beasts were dead he took out a Scroll of Inscription, using his index finger to take a blood sample of the original body, and wiping it on the scroll. The scroll automatically recognized the DNA and wrote a summoning scripture for Sanshu to read. He read it aloud, activating the scroll and embedding the summoning into his memory. Satisfied with his find, Sanshu turned around and returned to the shores of the Land of Claws. Summoning his Ekirei Hagetaka once more, he flew back to the gates of Amegakure. Leaving the island of the Land of Claws far behind, it was a unnaturally boring place for him. Even if there were very strange beasts here, possibly many more to add to his collection, he could care less for the small island and just wanted to return home. One new beast was enough for one journey.
