Name: Matsui, Ryuhei
Nickname: .. Ryu?
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Rank: ANBU
Village: Iwagakure
Affiliations: ----
Elements:Main: Fire
Subs: Earth
Kekkei Genkai: 'Copy' (I'll explain in my jutsu list...)
Personality: Ryuhei seems a little distant at times, as though his head was in the clouds. He's extremely protective of his friends and family, however, and is actually quite selfless to those close to him. His thoughts aren't exactly all sunshine, lollipops and rainbows everything, but he keeps any thoughts he deems too dark, or inappropriate for conversation to himself. That was a lesson he learned quickly from the Tsuchikage. She could be damn scary, even if it wasn't in the usual sense. Instead, it was a sort of... How would you say it... Calm fury? Disapproving love? Yeah, it doesn't sound right, does it?
Anyways... Ryuhei's cautious around Ophelia. He hates her disapproval more than anything else. On another note though, he is fiercely loyal to her, and tries his best to never tell a lie in her presence. He would never tolerate any lies spread behind Ophelia's back, and often acts as her eyes and ears around the village, and more often, outside it. He takes whatever task assigned to him extremely seriously, though often his manners might not suggest as much.
Appearance: Because of 'Copy', his appearance fluctuates quite often. But, if he was to ever strip himself of his layers of concealment, he would appear to be much younger than his twenty years. Somewhere around 15 or so. Unlike most, his youth is something he's proud of.
- Spoiler:
However, the form he usually takes is that of his deceased brother. He seems to fit in better if he was in the Tsuchikage's presence, with her elaborate costumes and whatnot. And, when he asks for his favorite drink, red wine, he doesn't get so many weird looks.

Bio: Catalog, Birth to Age Eight. So cold... It was extremely hard to bear. It was so warm before... What was up with this?
Rain drummed against the rooftops, a gentle storm that was so frighteningly loud after all the muffledness of before. Everything was so much harsher... And the eyes. Every set of eyes in the room were on him. So scary...
His cries brought relief to those in the room, going back to attending to the young mother, a case of teen pregnancy. One nurse's gaze swept from the child to the mother, knowing there was no way she'd be able to cope with the responsibility. Just another case of a poor child getting sent to the orphanage.
To the nurse's surprise, however, the young girl with frightened eyes demanded to keep the child. The medical staff just plastered fake smiles on and pretended to agree. There was no way that someone in her financial situation would be able to handle another mouth to feed. The child, now named Ryuhei, was instantly sent away to a group home with about five other children, like himself, had parents who hadn't been thinking at all before they stupidly brought life into this world.
And there he stayed, for a good long while. He strove for the attentions of his caretakers, but they were always too busy with the others to offer more than a good-natured pat on the head and a word or two of praise. He was a little saddened about that, but carried on as usual. He had a collection of trinkets that he found on the street, and was extremely possessive of them. The others usually knew not to go near it, for Ryuhei had a little bit of a temper at only five years of age. Discipline didn't really seem to sink in to the boy, either. He would relish in the joys of getting attention whenever he got in trouble.
Though, there were days when not even getting in trouble would get him the attention he thought he deserved. Those were the times when he'd sink into a sort of funk. He'd lock himself in his room with a collection of books, and by the time he was six, he had taught himself to read and was doing so at a fourth grade level. He strove to better even that, flying through reading levels like they weren't even there. He also learned to write with either hand, slowly becoming ambidextrous by the time he was eight. At the time, he was starting to become a little more interested in the shinobi way.
On his ninth birthday, he was offered a grant to go to the Academy, which he accepted. The way of the nin absolutely fascinated him.
Catalog, Age Nine to TwelveStudious as always, Ryuhei had much more book smarts than street smarts. He often got into small scraps where his disadvantage came from his lack of strength. No, not physical, he had plenty of that. For a young boy, he was extremely strong. It was because he hardly ever got in any serious practice.
((PAAAAAAAAAAAUSE. I'm taking a break.))
