An old memory.

"How long do they plan to keep me here", Chiro mumbled to herself in boredom, looking up at the sealing in the room pein had locked her in, ever since she was kidnapped from konoha 5 days ago. The only thing that had, happend, was her encounter with the weird akatsuki member, named tobi, who had complimented her cooking work.

"i cant even get out of here, he will notice it..", she thought to herself, as she laid herself down onto the bed, folding her arms behind her head, lookingup at the sealing again, closing her eyes slightly.

The door knob would turn and a male with a black cloak with red clouds would walk in a bird on his shoulder,as he walked in he would close the door behind himself and said"Chiro Nara of the Leaf village..Welcome."His face would be unseen only his lips would show.

Chiro sat up in the bed and looked towards the male akatsuki member who had entered. "What do you want in here", she said in a slight angered voice. She was angry over many things, but mainly it was because she only could leave the room and enter a small kitchen next door for food.

"I want to talk to you about old times is all."Ikki would step into the light and his face would be shown,his face was rather young showing that he was in the same age range as her,he would have on a leaf headband with a slash though the symbol,he would move his hair out of his face to show who he was hoping that Chiro would know who he was.

True enough, the black eyes of her went slightly wide as she saw him. Chiyo turned her face away, and looked down at the floor. "..Ikki...tsk..i guess this exsplains why i never could find you..", she said, looking at him again. "You know the reason for me being here?"

"Not really"Ikki didn't know why Pein told him to go get her but he knew it wasn't for some random reason,but what he did know was that Pein tested him on this event and he had failed when he left the village without her so he thought "You looked for me?...Why?"Ikki wanted to know why she looked for him?maybe to tell him something or kill him?

"Tsk...you are lucky i even remeber you..after the..event, were i lost my 2 comrads and sensei, i was enrolled into the anbu..the last time you saw me was at the hospital", she said, standing up, narrowing her eyes at him. "..to answer your question...i guess i had hoped i could save you from this.."

"Why would you want to....I killed several of our friends."Ikki would stop and think for a moment when he was do he would say"Is it because I was your comrade?"Ikki would walk to the wall and lean against it as he spoke.

Chiro shock her head and looked at him. "..The even that happend that night has always been blurry to me..the only thing i remeber is red eyes, and then the seach squad that found me the next morning..", she said, looking down at the floor again. "Times has changed, ikki..look at us, we arent kids anymore..we are enemies now"

"I'm well aware of this Chiro but I don't see you as an enemy,I see you more of a friend than enemy...Every since that night,I've said that you were the only person I wouldn't hurt."This was odd for Ikki never told anyone this and he thought this was a good time to reveal what his promise was to himself...He would walk over and put his hand on her shoulder and says"Keep your head up...I know things don't look good,but you mustn't give into Peins' tricks."Himari would jump off his shoulder and land on the foot of the bed.

OCC: the event was what made her mental unstable and spared her through it killed her team and the thiefs, it wasent ikki who did it.

"..How can you even say such things?..", she said, looking at the hand he had placed on her shoulder. "..already when you lay you hand on me, the diffrence is clear", she said, refering to the anbu tatoo on her shoulder, and the akatsuki cloak covering his body. Chiro pushed away his hand and crossed her arms, lowering her head slightly. "..i am not the same girl as you remeber me to be..ikki"

OCC:He's referring to the day you to met in the hospital

IC:Ikki would still have hand extended but he put it back to his side as he said"Hmm....Chiro we both have changed in different ways...I'm well aware of this."he would see her fold her arms and say"Are you angry with me?"

Chiro shock her head and let out a little sigh. "I am only angry for myself...if that event didnt happend...maybe i could had stopped you..im angry on myself being to weak", she said, as she walked over to the bed again, sat down, and pulled the thin sheet over herself.

"Please,Share your story with me and I'll share mine with you."Ikki would walk over to the bed and sit on the end of it as he awaited her response.Himari would jump onto his shoulder and look Ikki in the eyes and say to him *Let me out*Ikki would then walk to the door and open it and Himari would fly out of the room.Ikki would walk back over to the bed and sit.

Chiro let out a little sigh and looked down at her lap. "Remove you cloak and headband then...i dont want to share my history with a akatsuki member, i wanna share it with Ikki Kishima.."

"Very well"Ikki would stand to his feet,first removing his headband and placing it on the bed,then he would take of his cloak,his body was fit and ripped his clothes were fitted and not baggy,his scarf was tied around his neck but hung loosely,Ikki's skin was a milky tan,his biceps and muscles ripped showing that he had took care of his body over the years and stayed in shape,although he was medium size Ikki looked more ripped then most people his size,he would also have a small piece of the ANBU tattoo show on his arm through the top of his armband.Ikki would turn around and face her,then he would take a seat on the bed but not before laying the cloak on the edge.Ikki would say"How's this?"

Chiro looked at him for awhile, the body wasent the same, neither was his face, yet, she could see he was Ikki Kishima, the frail boy she had meet during her childhood. "..Im grateful for it, Ikki..you look amazing", she said, through not blushing or anything. "..the weeks after i was released from the hospital, serval members of the yamanaka clan tried to look into my mind and find out what had happend during the event, and why i was spared. They never came through, as if some seal had been planted in my mind, making it impossibol for them to break through..as if i had anthoder being inside my head. I began to have outbreaks of rage, and a undying bloodlust..to prevent myself from going insaine, i focused on trainning with oto-san(father). A few months later i passed the joinin exsams. im afriad i cant tell you more"

"That is find..."Ikki would stand to his feet as he said"It was two years ago on this day that I left the village."Ikki would turn to Chiro and say"Well I guess it's my turn...I was 16,me and my squad were assigned to infiltrate Kirigakure and retrieve a message from a shinobi who had some information on Orochimaru and his organization,when we were only miles away we were attacked by the ANBU assassination squad,me and my sensei were the only two who survived,my lover Aoi was killed trying to save me,my friend Bucha died two hours after arriving in the hospital,they said it was too late to save him,but two doors down an ANBU who had the same injuries as him was saved by A-ranked medical nin,days later I was released from the hospital and assigned ANBU and you know the rest from there."Ikki would stand over her and say"Chiro...did you ever love someone?"

"Love someone you say?...hmm..", she said, looking down again, avoiding meeting his eyes. Had she ever loved anyone? Sure, she had, had thoose 1 week school girl crushes when she was a acadamy student, that was something all normal girls had in that age. Some strong guy caught their intrest, they would turn you down like anyone else, and you would move on to the next one, remebering nothing from the former crush. "Im afriad i dont know, ikki"

"You're lying."Ikki would say as a smile comes across his face,this was also very odd for him Ikki never smiled unless something was 'interesting' to him,but when he was around Chiro he felt like a kid again,Ikki would sit on the edge of the bed and look at Chiro,his smile would be from ear to ear as he said"Come on you can tell me,I promise,I won't tell anyone,come on I be your friend."giving her a nudge showing that he was playing with her.

Chiro looked up at him, taking his cheek into her hand, looking up at him with saddend eyes, befor she stood up, turning her back to him. "..Ikki, this isent some game, we arent kids anymore. I am a prisinor here, my family and friends are worried sick about me", she said as she looked at him yet again. "..You were my friend once, we stopped being friends and started being enemies the moment your headband was slashed"

Her hands were warm on Ikki's face as she stood to her feet Ikki would still be on the bed as she spoke,Ikki would look toward his cloak when she said You were my friend once,we stopped being friends and started being enemies the moment your headband was slashed...Ikki would then stand to his feet and move his hand through his hair as he had showed his eyes to her and says"Look at me Chiro,does it seem like I chose this path for myself....No I haven't encase you were wondering.."Ikki would walk toward the small window,"....My parents died because of me,I know they told you all a different tale,but it's all a lie,the Uchiha and Hyuga clans didn't want to have a merger with their enemy clan so while on a mission my mother was killed and while in the war my father was killed by his own division and team......and then they came after me while I was on a mission with my squad,my sensei was to kill me and say that I was killed by an enemy shinobi.....while I was sleeping,and if he couldn't do it then the ANBU black ops would handle ALL of us and render the mission a failure..but I lived and that day changed my life...I wear the cloak for a reason and I slashed my headband for that same reason..."Ikki would look over at the cloak and headband laying on the bed and then look back at Chiro,and begins to think of his pass as a child how he would play with the other kids and have fun always smiling no matter what was going on in his life he always smiled,then he would look at Chiro as his eyes began to water,he would close them and tighten up his jaw as he looked away from her.

"Even through you are a grown young man, and a akatsuki member, you remain the little cry baby i looked after", she said, as she reached up and ran a hand through his hair in a comforting manner. "I never quite understood how you felt..or how it felt to loose anyone important...true, did lose my entire team, but i cant remeber how they died, and why i was spared. I have a mother, father, cousins, aunts, uncles, at home, i have my entire clan..so i guess the feeling never will be known to me"

"Hmh..."Ikki would turn to face Chiro,his dark red eyes met hers,his jaw tighten,has he looked at her,his fist clinched but he would unclinch it as he suddenly felt a warm feeling in his chest Ikki wonder what this feeling was,he had only felt this when he was around his family and friends this was a feeling he hadn't felt in a long time."What is this warm fuzzy feeling?"
